Thy Kingdom Come
There is officially a Frankston Reformed Presbyterian Church! The organization service took place this past Saturday. Andrew Stewart reminded us of what building the church means.
- It is not something we take for granted.
- It must be built up in godliness, character, unity, and love...as well as in numbers.
- It has to be founded on the preaching of Christ crucified.
- It will overcome Satan and all his defences.
- It is being built by Jesus Christ, to whom the praise and glory belongs.
Looking around at our small group may at times bring discouragement. That is when we have to look around to see what God has done and is doing and will do! We're just ordinary people working alongside our Extraordinary Builder.
On hilltops sown a little grain,
Like Lebanon with fruit shall bend;
New life the city shall attain;
She shall like grass grow and extend,
She shall like grass grow and extend.
Now blessed be our God alone,
Jehovah, God of Israel;
For only He has wonders done;
His deeds in glory far excel,
His deeds in glory far excel.
--Psalm 72:16, 18
