About Me
My life is not my own, for I belong to Christ.
It is because of God's grace and for His glory that I "live and move and have my being."
I am currently back in Indiana, studying English Education at Purdue University, far from the home I've come to know and love in Victoria, Australia
My family means the world to me.
Living in America and loving in Australia, I am blessed indeed.

The Fear of the Front Row
It will never cease to amaze me how persistently people will avoid sitting in or near the front row in church. No matter how many different arrangements we make with the chairs, the front rows are always left empty (excepting a Blackwood or two).
What are people so afraid of?
Here are some reasons to sit in the front row(s):
- It encourages your pastor
- It leaves back rows for newcomers and latecomers
- It leaves less room for distractions
- It encourages others to do the same
- It's really not that scary!!!
Sitting in or near the front can be a great blessing in worship for those reasons and more. It doesn't have to be a role excluded to pastor's kids. It's okay to be noticed in church. More importantly, it's a good opportunity to demonstrate a readiness and willingness to pay full attention. "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing." --1 Thessalonians 5:11
