"My heart doth overflow." I am so thankful that God has been so visibly at work in the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Australia over the past couple of weeks. I cannot express the joy I have as I see Him fulfilling His promise to build His glorious church. Of course, I must continue to be joyful through all the circumstances in which He places me in the ministry here. I must praise Him even through the difficult, discouraging, and disappointing times. I am so thankful for the people who the Lord has placed in my life here. I have so many wise and godly people who I can not only look up to but with whom I can also share a close friendship. It took me a while to think of them as "mentors", but now I do so with such a sense of the blessing they place in my life. God is so good to let His people be encouraged through one another. I am so thankful that God has revealed Himself through His Word. At times, it seems so very unclear where God is leading me at this point in my life. He has really been showing me things lately that help me to trust that He will show me clearly where He is directing my paths. "I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.' " --Acts 20:35 Thanks, Jono, for finding the reference for me! "Do not worry about your life...but seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." --Matthew 6:24, 33 Charity | 9:11 pm Comments-[ comments.] |
