His merrrcy lasts forever

Tamara and I walked down and up and semi-around Foot Street last night. In the rain. Barefoot. With our jeans rolled up. And our hair let down. After thirty minutes, the whole soggy jeans thing wasn't feeling so delightful...but it was still rather wonderful overall. I stood on top of the humongo round-a-bout at Towerhill/Foot and just laughed. Because no one was around (except one dark hooded character who Tamara insisted was a harmless old man). Because I had someone to talk to. Because I had something to live for. Because it was raining.

I have my least favorite class today. I'm not going to let it get to me (or all the other things, for that matter). I'm going to trust in His mercy. I've made an executive decission: Breathe (a lot).

I have a joy in my heart that is reaching to my mouth. This time I'll just smile; I'll consider singing again later.

That doesn't mean everything is always perfectly okay. But I know it can and will be because He lives and lives in me.
