Top Ten Reasons Why Julia Mae is Cool:

1. She dips her pretzels in salsa
2. She pretends to be "Superwoman"
3. She goes to Southside
4. She has gmail
5. She can sing along to "They Might Be Giants" and "Weird Al"
6. She put up riding to school with us Blackwoods every single day for a whole year
7. She has some amazing "Ultimate Frisbee" skills
8. She reads my blog
9. She teases and counsels me
10. SHE MIGHT COME TO AUSTRALIA SOMEDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Late, as usual

My little friend JuliaMae
Was riding to school one day.
Though safer she'd be on a bus,
She chose to go driving with us.
She hates Weird Al's "eBay"
But "Bangs" she would sing all the way.
We saw her a lot on the road:
Trucks reading "Oversize Load!"
Though an inner cow she may be,
An outer cow you won't see.
Her mouth could hold all the mail,
But, anyway, back to the tale...
We were driving along through the snow,
When the breaks went out--"Oh no!"
We slipped and they slid, though not far,
Straight into the back of a car.
For Julia, this was a first,
Into great fits of laughter she burst.
We were very late to school--
'Tis normal with Blackwood car-poole.
The moral is her's and mine:
Take the bus next time!

Thanks for being such a cool friend, Julia. What would I do without our chats, your advice, and your reminders?? I can't wait to go driving again... Don't worry, I'm *much* safer than Allen. :-D And don't forget to throw a snowball for me!!!
