This past Saturday, we celebrated Benji's birthday (which was on the 27th) by going rock-climbing. We did it a year ago with the Glovers, so we kind of knew what we were doing. Kind of.

We had a blast.

Okay, so she won this "race"...but I creamed her on the next one we took.

This was rather scary. I think dad was a little more scared than I was, though, because he was the one balaying for me...and I kept falling and hitting him, hehe. I never actually got to a point where I trusted myself to let go with my right hand and reach for the next rock...ugh.

We just came from visiting Ray, Carolyn, and little Thomas from the hospital. Little Thomas J. W. Huges was born just last evening. Seeing him tonight made me as excited (if not more) as the day Caz told me she was pregnant! *sigh* What an amazing gift of life (praise the Lord). Welcome to the world, beautiful boy!
