I have a few people who have agreed to run away with me. Hannah and I have gotten further than anyone in our plans and have agreed to meet half-way in Hawaii. I love asking people who live 3000 miles away if they can come over. They usually say yes. I love being unrealistic. I love having people right here who know and understand me...like my sisters. No matter what, we can always be sisters. We can always talk about life, and almost always know exactly what we mean. We can share thoughts without using words. We can try to cry and end up laughing instead. And it works. Well..most of the time. Tonight Tamara and I tried once again to revive the Hoosier in us and play basketball down the street. How embarrassing it would be if someone we knew ever saw us... After shooting and making about 3 out of 17 attempted baskets, we ran up the hill to the side of the basketball court, up to the football field, sat on some railings, and talked about life, love, and the pursuit of happiness. Then we came home (on time, I might add), saw Maria on the front porch swing, grabbed her and some sleeping bags, and parked ourselves out in the yard--right in front of the sidewalk. No one else understands. I don't know that we even truly understand. Actually, I'm pretty sure we don't. Perfect plans for posts never really make it out of my brain. That's okay. Tomorrow is the Lord's Day. Tomorrow is the RPCA Psalm sing. Tomorrow is for rest, fellowship, service, and worship. I will not dread tomorrow; I will not worry today. "This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope. Through the LORD's mercies, we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness... The LORD is good to those who wait for him, To the soul who seeks Him." --Lamentations 3:21-23, 25 ________ I love hope. ________ song of the post ~ "Letting the Cables Sleep" by Bush Charity | 10:22 pm Comments-[ comments.] |
