Musings of a Nerdy Knitter

Imagine for me an entire bin full of yarn. Not just regular yarn, but discounted yarn. Every piece in the bin was only $1.00! WoW. I began grabbing all the lovely, soft pieces, imagining what beautiful things they could become.

I must admit I felt rather like a nerd as I loaded my arms with spools of yarn (and a couple new knitting needles) and carried them across the store to the "self check-out" area. Maria and I could hardly contain ourselves on our walk to the car. Once there, we began knitting away for the entire 10 minute car ride home.

So yes, I am on an inspired knitting high. (Justine, what have you done?!?) Though, I am a bit sad that I can't do my planned reading at the same time as knitting. We borrowed a bunch of books from people at church and I'm so excited to dig into them. Ha, a bookworm AND an aspiring knittist. :-D

I guess I'll just have to listen to music whilst knitting instead. Slightly less educational...but then again, who needs brains anyway!? (besides...most people)
