About Me
My life is not my own, for I belong to Christ.
It is because of God's grace and for His glory that I "live and move and have my being."
I am currently back in Indiana, studying English Education at Purdue University, far from the home I've come to know and love in Victoria, Australia
My family means the world to me.
Living in America and loving in Australia, I am blessed indeed.

My Accomplishments
In the past few weeks I have learned to do the following:
- Eat like an Australian - not just in what I eat, but in how I eat. I now eat my food with a knife and fork. We sometimes get made fun of when we eat like Americans. I think that it is so cool to eat like an Australian, though. :-)
- Do 15 push-ups - Don't laugh. I'm still working on it, and that is a HUGE accomplishment for me!!!
- Run 1 mile without stopping - I haven't done this in quite a while. I'm still really slow, but my sisters and I are trying to get better. We're trying to fit in with the whole healthy lifestyle thing here. Slowly, but surely.
- Touch my toes - It still hurts, though. I have never been able to do this before now!!
- Share a room peacefully with my sisters - It's a lot of fun. Seriously. We tell people it's like 'having a sleepover every night'. We've officially started our Super Secret Sisters Club (haha, don't ask...)
And yet left on my to-do list are... - Drive on the other side of the road - 1 week until I'm legally able to!!
- Surf - Matthew and Casey have promised to teach us. They keep telling me I'll be able to do it. Little do they know of my athletically challengedness...
- Get a tan - I proudly told Beth and Mrs. Long that I have aquired a tan line. They just laughed. My sisters don't even believe me, but it's THERE!
- Ride a bike - Okay, I know how to ride a bike, but I want to be able to do several miles at once. Without dying. I can't believe that less than two years ago a did the bike trip.
- Say Australian lingo in everyday conversation - I think some of the things they often say are so cute! I've already begun saying some things that they always say without even thinking about it. Maria says she daydreams in Australian. I think I'm beginning to do the same thing... it's a bit scary. I really hope Benji gets the whole accent!!! I would be so proud. :-D
Welp, that's about it for now, folks! (I always think of Porky Pig when someone says the word "folks"...hehe.)
