Sick Sick Sick

I don't like being sick. Who does? Is it a little weird that my mom and I are both sick? Perhaps something to do with our shopping trip? ;-) Though, She feels better and I feel worse. I didn't go to church last night. I didn't know there was Communion. I should have toughed it out and gone. Today, sick or not, I have to get the school done that I didn't do during our little shopping trip. So here's the gist of it...

We got to my cousins' (Danielle and John) apartment in Wisconsin at 9:30ish. I slept through the last hour or so of the trip. As soon as we unpacked the van, we turned around and went shopping at Kohls till 11ish. They had 50% off almost everything in the store plus 15% off for senior citizens (yay for Grandma! :-D) We slept in on Thursday morning and went to a couple stores in the morning. My grandpa and John did some 'guy stuff' and then met us for lunch at a Chinese buffet (Yummm!). My mom, aunt, and grandma went on to another store after we ate, but Danielle and I went back to the apartment and dozed on the couch while watching "Christmas with the Kranks". We pretty much stayed home that night ('cept a run to Wal-Mart) and played "Ten Little Indians". Oh and then we went to a little neighborhood called "Candycane Lane" that had a bunch of Christmas lights up. We had to stop at Krispy Kreme on the way home, too. We did our big shopping at Gurnee Malls on Friday. We shopped for almost 12 hours straight. We got back around 10:30 and had some hot soup. Then my cousin highlighted my hair. It's not too noticable, I guess. My family noticed, but no one at church did. The trip back on Saturday seemed shorter (probably because I slept for like 3 hours of it). I was totally and completely surrounded by shopping bags that swished most of the way home. I was planning on going with my family to Joel Hart's basketball game, but I had a bit of a fever, so my mom told me to stay home. I was exhausted anyway. I can't wait to give away the things I bought!!!
