So guess what I'm doing from the 7th till the 10th? Yulp - SHOPPING! Four entire days of shopping in Chicago with my mom, aunt, cousin, and grandma. My cousin lives near Chicago and we are going to stay with her. This will be the third year in a row that my grandma, mom, and aunt have done this. The first year, it was a birthday present for my Grandma from my mom and aunt. Last year, it was kind of another 'birthday present', but also a 'hey that was fun last year. Let's do it again!'. :-) I wanted to go along, but I had Biology and Worldviews which I couldn't skip. My mom promised to take me someday, and it's working out for me to come along this year. I am extremely excited. My mom says that I will be utterly exhausted...but I still can't wait! Christmas shopping is one of my favorite things to do. I just love finding presents for other people. If I had the money, I'd just do it all year 'round! Well...maybe not. But you get the picture. ;-) I am determined not to let my aunt and mom "out-shop" me. We're going to this ginormous outlet mall and will be shopping literally from after breakfast until bedtime. The only down-side to this trip is that I'll be missing the opening night to "The Chronicles of Narnia". My dad was planning on taking my Worldview class at midnight, but we kind of decided it'd be nice to go with our whole family. Oh well. I can wait for it. I hope the movie isn't a flop. No offence to Disney, but I'm kind of scared that they're the ones doing it. The previews look great, though. Maria and I had a lot of fun last Thursday. We stayed at the Long's and went to see the LOTR exhibit at the Indiana State museum. We all found it sort of boring...but we got free french fries and Coke re-fills, so that made up for it. ;-) Plus, we got to spend the night at the Long's, so that was a ton of fun. Saturday we had the Hart's (from Australia...yeah the cool ones! hehe) over for lunch. We had a lot of fun talking some more with them about Aussie and all that good stuff. We talked about everything from bathrooms to bugs to the the beach (ask me about it if you want to know more!). They're a really great family to be around. And the kid's accents are absolutely adorable! :-D To those of you dislike my current song: too bad so sad. Cover your ears. :-P Charity | 2:03 am Comments-[ comments.] |
