      Adventures in life and driving

      I LOOOOOOVED "The Chronicles of Narnia"!!!!!! I really hope they come out with the other ones, too. I jumped so high when Edmund stepped over the wolf and, according to my dad, my mom nearly jumped into the row behind us! Hehe it was fun seeing it as a family. Zachary and I were sitting there pointing out what was different than the book. But overall, they were pretty true to the original story. They definitely messed up the lines in the end, though. The Beavers were supposed to say the line about him not being safe, but being good. :-P Oh well it was a great movie.

      In my post about going to Lafayette, I forgot to mention the ride back home. I drove and was freaking out when about 7 semi trucks were in a pack in front of and beside and behind me. Maria suggested I run into them and try to scare them off the road, but I had to remind her that our Buick, no matter how good a little car it is, is just a tad smaller. I love driving the Buick! I haven't done it in a long time since the boys took it to college with them. It drives so nicely, though. 'Cept for the fact that it doesn't have cruise control. My mom kept looking at the speedometer and saying, "Uh, Charity, I know it's hard to keep it on the same speed, but you don't need to go that fast!" Maybe that's why I was so annoyed by the semi's - they take over the whole road and decide to slow down! Grrr! Oh by the way, want to know something rather sad? In Aussie, one can't get their license until they are eighteen. :-( Talk about waiting for a while!

      Okay, so much for me not posting until after WC. (I CAN'T WAIT!!!!) My parent's and grandparent's are at the symphony and I really have nothing better to do at this time. Actually, I'm going to go call Flobie, so this is the end of this post! Ohh except to say that I am reading"In a Sunburned Country", and it is a great book so far. The author is soo funny! 'Sides the fact that he believes in evolution, I've really enjoyed what I've read so far. So I recommend it! :-)
