I am really happy right now. I've been in a great mood all day. (Well, I wasn't in a wonderful mood earlier this morning, but I got over it...) This morning, while raking leaves, I found joy in thinking about the "go to the ant" verse (and the Judy Rogers song! ;-)). Also, I enjoyed the Youth Group Bible study today. I think we had some good discussion, and I learned some new things. I watched "A Time To Kill" with my siblings and got pretty teary at the end of it. (Not sure if you actually call it crying if my eyes just welled up a bit.) And I had so many goosebumps, it hurt (hehe). Then I went upstairs and picked a chicken that I cooked. It was amazing! See, I opened up the middle of the chicken and looked at it's organs. I know that probably sounds disgusting and way out of character for me, but it was so neat! It was kind of aweing to realize the fact that I was holding a tiny little heart in my hands. I showed Benjamin and Tamara and they had about the same reaction I did - "ewww!" at first then "cool!" It made me think about how awesome God is in creating all the creatures on the earth. I proceeded to clean up the kitchen, singing "My Fair Lady", "Phantom of the Opera" and then some Psalms. I decided to post a bit on my blog before I go have my quiet time and go to bed. I guess I just wanted to kind of share my joy with you all. :-) Before I forget, I need to do the "five random facts" that I was 'tagged' to do. Here we go: 1. I am currently reading some books by Dee Henderson for a second time. 2. I absolutely LOVE Chinese food. 3. I do anything from memory better if I don't really think about it (don't expect that to make much sense...) 4. I keep having these urges to cut my hair really short. 5. I usually enjoy taking notes on anything. I hope those are random enough...I'm sure I could've gone on! Ah, one last thing! Check out our family website! If you register, you can access some more things. My dad is still in the process of designing it. Quote of the post: "The heart is a strange thing. Strong enough to survive.
