--Disturbing, isn't it? Thankfully, we got some mouse traps at Wal-Mart last night and managed to ki'll 7 of the who-knows-how-many mice. It took less than an hour, too (no exaggeration!) Tamara and my dad both stood in one corner of the kitchen, and watched as each mouse came out, sniffed the peanut butter on the end of the trap, tried to take a nibble, and *SNAP*! That was the end of that mouse... We actually tried getting our cats to come in and try to hunt some down, but that didn't work out so well. The mouse trap plan suceeded much better. :-) I have some more lovely quotes to put on here... I've been adding up these quotes over time, trying to keep remembering them all for when I next posted. Here they are: Quotes: Maria: Mom, can I ki'll him (Benjamin)? Mom: No. Maria: Mom, can I hurt him? Mom: No. Maria: Mom, can I correct him in love? Mom: ...Yes. Maria: BENJAMIN I'M GOING TO KlLL YOU IF YOU EVER DO THAT AGAIN!!!!! Dad: (looking in Wal-Mart for mouse traps) Do you think they'd be in the 'Pet Supplies' section? Dad: (on the same shopping trip - looking at a box of some kind of dessert box with the brand name "Mrs. Freshly's") What!? Little Debbie must've gotten married! Maria: It's impolite to read over people's shoulders...that's why I read over people's heads. Well, that's all I can remember for now. Hehe, I love quoting my family! The sad thing is, they say so many brilliant, hilarious things in a day, that I always forget some of them before I have the chance to share them! Let's see... what else has been going on in that overly exciting life of mine? Ah, yes, I've been painting. A lot. In the past week, we've managed to paint Tamara's, Maria's, Benjamin's, and my bedrooms, part of the living room, part of my par'ent's room, and part of the bathroom upstairs. It's been an adventure, that's for sure. We're practically professionals now. Practically. :-P On to bigger and brighter subjects, though... I've been sort of thinking about changing my Blogger template. Some people have told me that it is hard to read or "overly annoying" (not mentioning any names, of course). I think it's because I have a different color for every post. So, I'm going to ask you all to tell me what the best, most easy to read color is, and I will start using only that color for my posts. I'm afraid it will get boring for me, but for the sake of my reader's (and their eyes) I am willing to make that sacrifice. I think that's it for what I wanted to post. I hope you all have a superb day and spectacular weekend! Mine should be fun, as I think Anna Pulliam is coming over. :-D OH WAIT!!!!!!! I forgot to mention what fun I had last weekend! Well, I went to the Enas's Saturday night for dinner (which was excellent) and then spent the night, and all day Saturday at the Long's. Beth and I slept in the basement and managed to oversleep, giving us 10-15 minutes to get completely ready. I 'joined' their family by greeting with them - most people didn't notice because there are so many of them. But a few made comments like, "Wait...you aren't a Long!" or, the ones who actually knew my name, "Why hello, Charity Long!" Cathy came over in the afternoon, and she and Beth spent most of the time making fun of me. (Hehe, I still love you guys! :-P) Alrighty, I'm done with this lovely post. You can all cheer now. (I've had enough quotes for this post...)
