I figured I might as well just start another post since I never got around to adding more to that one yesterday. I've been into sending letters to people recently. I think I've sent 5 letters in the last week. It takes more effort and time than email, but it is SO much more fun. :-) School has started for the Blackwood family. Well, actally only part of it. I've only actually started Spanish, Algebra, and Worldviews. As is usual at the beginning of the school year, they haven't turned out to be very hard...yet. I am really going to work on not complaining about school so, though. My mom suggested that it be each of us kid's goal to not complain about school assignments this year. I'm really blessed to be able to be homeschooled and take these classes with other homeschoolers. We'll probably be moving in the middle of the school year, so I want to do my best in these classes while I have the chance. I know, I know...this is probably mostly due to my sort-of excitment about a new beginning starting, but I truely want to work hard. It's very easy to say that now, but it will be tough to carry out as the year goes on. It didn't work out for us to go to Lafayette last weekend due to some circumstances beyond our control (hehe). Instead, my sisters and I stayed at the Long's house ALL weekend. It was a LOT of fun. We got to go out to eat, then went shopping at Goodwill for a couple hours. Beth and I spent around 2 hours trying on clothes (mostly picked out by the other gi'rls there). We got some VERY interesting outfits and looks from other people as we walked out of the dressing room in them. Haha, it was a great time. Goodwill is a wonderful store, I must say. :-D However, this weekend we will be going to Lafayette (Lord willing!). Emily Humphreys invited my sisters and me over to spend the night then we are planning on going to church with them on Sunday morning. The Saunders also invited us for lunch Sunday after church. I went to their house with my dad on Wednesday and had a lot of fun. (They are the family Allen and Zachary are living with.) Their little gi'rls are absolutely adorable and sweet! Their whole family is incredibly nice and fun to be around. I think my brothers will have a great time living with them, and I know the Saunders kids are very excited to have them there. Quote of the post: "So, you're like our sister now because Allen and Zachary are like our brothers." --Emma Saunders ^-^ Awwwww! ;-) Verse of the post: "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands." --Psalms 19:1 ^-^ Even when it's pretty dreary outside!
