Some Fabulous Places Some Fabulous People |

Yesterday was so much fun! I wish I could see those people more often. Sometimes I think it'd be nice if all the RPers lived close to each other and we just had one big church. But I know that in reality, that would never work. I probably wouldn't take the time to get to know so many people, and I think the church would lose it's warmth. Plus, seeing the different people would lose it's specialness and excitement. Anyway...we ended up staying all afternoon with the Saunders and then going to the evening service at their church. We had so much fun with our family and their's! I did all the kid's hair, including the boys. And let me tell you, the boys have like the nicest hair ever. It's blo'nde and a little bit curly, and incredibly soft and...ugh I am jealous! Hehe, I told them the same. I also did Allens hair, which isn't as soft, but it's still fun to play with. I wish I had taken more pictures so I could put them on here. But when I mentioned that, I got some worried looks from them, so I guess it's best that I leave it to your imagination. It was interesting...I'll tell you that. ;-) We had a great time with the Humphrey's on Saturday night, as well. Flo and Kathryn spent the night, and we gi'rls all watched Emily's favorite movie - "Steel Magnolias". It was a great movie (it made me tear up a bit). Emily said that the movie came out when she was around our age, and it makes her cry more every time. It's kind of chick-flickish, but Micah apparently likes the movie, too, so you all should check it out sometime. Sunday morning, Pastor Long prached about having assurance of your salvation. It was a very encouraging sermon. i think almost all Christians have a time in their life that they doubt their salvation. He talked about the fact that if it is God's will that we are saved, no one, not even ourselves, is great enough to make us lose that salvation. And in doubting it, we are really not giving Him enough credit. He also mantioned that even though we know that a Christian cannot lose their salvation, one must still suffer the consequences of their sin. Anyway, I enjoyed his sermon a lot and I think I benifited from it, as well. :-) Question of the post: What's the weirdest thing you've ever done just for fun? ^-^ This is just a one-time thing, suggested by Maria. Quote of the post:"No, Dad, you shouldn't drop us off at the Sears entrence...there might be some young men there looking at tools, and you wouldn't want us to associate with them or anything!" --Grace Hanson ^-^ I'm not sure if that is an exact quote, but it was something along those lines! Verse of the post: "This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day." --John 6:39-40 ^-^ This was the passage Pastor Long preached from. Song of the post: "Slipped Away" --Avril Lavigne ^-^ This song brings back memories...I first heard it on Laura's Xanga almost a year ago and it just makes me think of then...I don't even really like Avril that much, but I really like this song for that reason.
