Guess what!?

I am a newly permitted driver!!! :-D I just got my driver's permit about 15 minutes ago! My dad first had to take me down-town to get a social security card (I lost mine somehow). The dumb thing is, you can't get your permit without a social security card and you almost can't get a social security card without a driver's liscence! But we managed to get it without much hassle. My picture on my permit isn't very good, though. I didn't realize that I was getting it today. I had Driver's Ed this morning (We forgot yesterday's class...whoops!) and we came home for a few minutes to eat and get some stuff before going downtown. It was after we left that I realized I wasn't exactly looking my best. I had/have on a blue, very casual T-shirt, a pony-tail in my not-so-nice-looking hair, and almost no makeup. Also, the lady had to take the picture literally five times! The first time she said it was too dark. Then too light. The third time it was too dark again! It was either the fourth or fifth time that she said it was still a bit too light, but it would work. (She called me "Casper". :-P) When she asked me me weight and height, I wasn't exactly sure so I estimated. I know my height is between 5' 6" and 5' 7". My dad said to just put 5' 7". That makes me feel tall. :-D hehe. And I'm NOT putting my weight on a public site so too bad so sad! Maybe that's vain, but hey, I'll take vain if it means I don't have to tell people how fat I am. (Ok, ok, I don't really think I'm fat so I don't need any lectures...)

Tonight Maria and I get to go spend the night with Bethy at the Long's since Luke is going to Stephen Long's. We're going to stay up late talking, eating junk food, and watching "Phantom of the Oprah". And for the first time, we won't get repremanded when we whisper after 'light's out'. ;-)
