"Ya live and ya learn..." Yesterday, after my first Driver's Ed class, I went to Anna Pulliam's. Grace had spent the night and was there, too. After eating lunch at Highland, we tried to get David to take us to Wallgreen's. When he refused, (:-P) Anna got Mrs. Pulliam to agree. So, we got two highlighting kits. We went home and we-- *cutting out a few hours of the story* --Then we went to see "Madagascar" (or however you spell it). The animal's were adorable and it was pretty funny. I went home and got a few comments from my family members about my, uh, hair... I had Driver's Ed again today. It wasn't as bad as yesterday cuz I actually semi-knew people. There's really only one gi'rl I've talked to and sat with. Her name's Jasmine and she's pretty nice, but I really don't think she's a Christian (by the way she talks). So I guess you could pray I'd be a good witness. After tomorrow, though, I'll probably never see her again. I have to continue taking the class after ECHO, but there will be all new people. That means I'll have to go through the first, awful 15 minutes of not knowing anyone at all and trying to find someone who will let me sit with them. *sigh* Life goes on... OH! So, yeah, we leave for ECHO on Thursday! My mom bought around a zillion tons of groceries for ECHO today. She took Maria, Tamara, and Zachary to Aldi's and they all four had filled-to-the-top-stuffed-full carts. Tamara claims people were laughing at them as they went through the check-out line and then out to the car. I really need to get a packin', though. I've been doing laundry today, but I haven't really packed at all yet! I hope everyone else going on that trip is having fun getting ready, too! Well, I've really been enjoying this song, but I'm sure it's getting a bit annoying, so I guess I'll change. Most of you probably won't hear from me for a while. I might be able to get a very short post in on ECHO if we go to the library there. Don't miss me too much! ;-) Song of the post~Soak Up the Sun by Cheryl Crow Charity | 10:55 am Comments-[ comments.] |
