So, I've been totally whiney, and the past few days have been a HUMONGO pity party I've thrown for myself. But guess what? I'm getting over it and deciding to quit questioning the meaninglessness of life and the things in it. (That sounded sui'cidal or something...don't get the wrong ideas...haha.) I'm a happy gi'rl And I've come to know That the world won't change Just 'cause I complain Let the axis twirl I'm a happy gi'rl Oh watch me go I'm a happy gi'rl Everybody knows That the sweetest thing That you'll ever see In the whole wide world Is a happy gi'rl Words of Wisdom: Don't borrow trouble. Tanslation: Don't worry about what might happen. Just live your life as it is and take things as they come at you, by the grace of God. He won't give you anything you can't handle. Back-up: Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow has enough worries of its own. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. --Matthew 6:34 I'm saying this mostly for myself. It's easy to say now. I couldn't have said it yesterday. And who knows if I'll be able to say it tomorrow. But no matter what happens, I will always know (even if it's deep in my heart) that God is going to work it out for good. His will is so much better than my own. Just think what would happen if we were left to plan our own lives. I know mine, at least, would be a huge mess. I would have never wanted God in my life. That sounds terrible to say, but it's true. It's true of everyone - left to our sinful selves, we would have no desire to claim Christ as our Savior. He gives us the grace and ability to do that. I am amazed by that truth! Laura and Nathaniel beat you all by far in convincing me to continue my blog. ;-) Thanks, guys. If you're still interested in what is happening in my life....uhh this post will be continued later beacuse I need to go... Song of the post~Untitled by Simple Plan Watch the music video!!!
