Let's see, what other interesting, exciting, fun things can I post about? Hmm...let me ponder for a moment......... Well I guess I could say that I think it's really neat how the Bible mentions over and over how love is one of the greatest powers anyone can have. Not only in 1 Corinthians 13, but all over the rest of the Bible! Such as the verses that say, "Perfect love casts out all fear", "Love covers a multitude of sins" etc etc. And I absolutely love the 1 Corinthians definition of true love and how Paul explains so well (of course he did it well...he was inspired by God!! :-)) the absolute necessity of love! Anyways...just a few thoughts I came up with while comtemplating life last night. That's another really cool thing to do before you drift off to sleep...heh. Oh also, I've agreed to post David's beautiful line(s) for those who won't...I mean can't ;-) come and see the play. Quotes: Meg=Charity, Laurie=David First some background - Meg is at a party for her rich friend and some other rich gi'rls have been giving her a hard time about being poor... MEG: I don't have to listen to this! (Just in the nick of time, LAURIE has stepped upon the vultures. With a quick, handsome smile, he rescues her.) LAURIE: You certianly don't, Meg. Do I detect a damsel in distress? (all the ladies gasp, first and mutter "Mr. Laurence!") No, I'm Theodore. But my friends call me Laurie. So that means that every one of you can just call me...Theodore. Why? Because you're not my friends. I don't recall anyone blowing the horn to signal the start of hunting season! SALLIE GARDINER: Oh, Mr. Laurence. You're so amusing! (LAURIE takes MEG's arm and helps to lead her out.) LAURIE: And you're not! Princess Margaret. Your carriage awaits! Are those not the best lines ever!? Song of the post~Look What You've Done by Jet Charity | 10:04 am Comments-[ comments.] |
