First of all, WINTER CONFERENCE WAS THE BEST!!!!! For some really great pictures from it, go here. These are pictures Kevin took. I enjoyed the conference so incredibly much! (not sure if that's proper grammer, but oh well!) I got to meet so many new people and had a great time with old friends! And on top of that, I got to listen to Pastor Yorks incredible talks. I think everyone really benifitted from those. I can't wait till next year! But I hope I see those people before then.

Also...I am always the victim. And for some reason, especially at the Ray's house! Ellen says I should just expect to get -barded some way or another when I go to the Ray's. I know many of you were there or have already heard about it, but I'm going to tell it again for the sake of the search for some sympthy for Mary and me!!

Yesterday the Rays had a Lord of the Rings party. We watched all three extended versions - aka 12 hours of movies. And who could POSSIBLY sit through all of that silently? NOT ME! I mean, common, that's not healthy! And besides, I'm convinced that the movies wouldn't have been the same without my commentary. Anyways, I guess people sort of got annoyed because it started out with all the gi'rls upstairs and all the guys downstairs (we were oh so good at senchronizing the movies upstairs and down!). Then after the first half of the Fellowship, Cathy and I moved downstairs. That resulted in a couple guys moving upstairs. Then more gi'rls came down and by the beginning of the third movie, most of the gi'rls were down stairs and over half of the guys were upstairs. Annnyyywwaayyss...Mary, Grace, and I were ly discussing the characters clothes/attitudes etc when suddenly, without warning, we were soaked with cold water by my cold, heartless brother! Only to find out that Mrs. Ray had given permission for him to do it! I guess that was our warning because the next time we talked, the same thing happened! By the third glass, we were getting pretty scared, not to mention totally soaked! We tried to escape, but there was no where to turn in the crowded basement. I leaped over to the computer, only to be dragged to the other side of the room by my neck and soaked again! After that, Mary and I used the only weapon we had left - our own syliva. (Grace had been picked up by this time.) Hannah, who was blocking our path upstairs, gagged at that and let us go upstairs. (Wow this whole thing sounds really immature...but I guess you kinda had to be there...) So Mary and I armed ourselves with shampoo bottles filled with water and slowly made our way to the main floor to finish the movie there. As soon as it was over, we tried to find Zachary, but the other guys were helping him escape. So we waited outside (they locked us out!) on the front porch only to be surprised by a bucket of water from above us! Several guys, and I must say gi'rls, as well, had gotten the bright idea to go in someone's upstairs bedroom, open the window, and pour water on us from there! Oh so much more happened after that, but it would take too long to explain and like I said before, you almost just had to be there. I went home around 11 totally drenched. But I have one thing to say to our "enemies": Watch your back because someday somewhere, we WILL get you all back! Just you wait.
Well, we start school tomorrow. That should be exciting. Only one more semester till Summer!!! I can't wait! HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! Make God your priority this new year...I know I am going to strive to do that. Have a great day!
