We stayed at the McCrackens (sp?) Saturday night. After we ate, we got a call from the Deans inviting us to go see "The Incrdibles" at the movie theater. So, we asked our parents and they said we older four kids could go. Heather Moore, Becky I-can-never-remember-her-last-name, and some other people we didn't know went and sat with us, as well. It was a really funny movie. Sunday afternoon we went to the...uhh..McKlentocs (I know that's not spelled right). We had a really good meal and just visited and played around with their 6 kids all afternoon. We left their house at 6:30 or so. At about 8:30 we called our grandparents on my mom's side and asked if we could come over and eat. (I thought that was so "nice" that we just invited ourselves over, but whatever!!) So we stayed at their house from about 9 to 10 and got home at almost 11. Oh and right before we left on Saturday Allen stepped on a toothpick (it went like half the way in his foot!) and on the way back, Sunday, he kept handing me his old Band-Aid! It was soooo gross!!! I guess that's what brothers are for! ;-P I have soo much school to do! Since we got home "late", my parents didn't wake me up so I didn't get up till 9:30! Now, that was realllly nice, but it gave me a late start on school and things. Maria and I finished Government, but we still have to memorize part of the Declaration of Independence for that class. We also have three weeks of World Views to do and I have to memorize my Right To Life speech (I'll post it on here if I get an OK grade! ;-)) and do some stuff for Biology. Oh, and there's always more Algebra to do! Ok, Joel Hart is at least a year younger than me, but he's in the same math book as me and like 50 lessons ahead of me! (no exaggeration!!) Tell me again why I didn't get the smart genes in my family?? Ahh oh well. I'm ok with being "average", I suppose. Oh one more thing I wanted to post was this, Joshua Harris' definition of glorifying God: Living to glorify God means doing everything... for Him, His way, to point to His greatness and reflect His goodness. So I challenge you to strive to glorify God in everything you do this week. (1 Cor. 10:31) Have a wonderful, God blessed day! :-D Song of the post~Butterfly kisses by Bob Carlisle Charity | 5:20 pm Comments-[ comments.] |
