Ugh, I have been trying to find this really good song to put on my blog, but I cannot find it anywhere! It's called "Wait For Me" by Rebecca St. James. Now, I'm not really that much of a fan of contemporary Christian music, but this was a song that came on a CD with the book, "Boy Meets " by Joshua Harris. Now before you all think I'm a total freak for reading that, let me say first of all, it is a companion to his book, "I Kissed Dating Goodbye", and secondly, my dad wants my older siblings and I to read it. Ok, "I Kissed Dating Goodbye" sounds really weird and people have sort of made fun of me for saying that it is reallllly good, but it is!! I would encourage you ALL to read it! It is not just about 'the rules of not dating', it is about all relationships with others (but especially those of the opposite se'x) and looking out for what is best for others. It talks about thinking of them as brothers and sisters in Christ and not a potential boyfriend/girlfriend/husband/wife.

I know saving your heart for your future husband/wife can be really hard. So can staying mentally/emotionally pure as well as physically pure. That is probably one of our greatest temptations, but I believe it will be worth it. Now, I am NOT saying I have and always will do this perfectly, but it is something that is important to me in striving to live for God. Ok, well that's my little challenge for you all today. Hehe, so much for my 'short posts'! I don't really expect you all to read this, but that's alright. :-) I did it more for my own benefit and enjoyment of writing.

Oh and comments are definitely slacking on everyone's blogs lately! Where are all our people??
