DUDE! Here we are!!! I am laughing at the fact that whilst I impatiently await for our flight to Indy to depart, I am getting on the internet. How sad. Dad started it! I'm going to see a lot of you in a FEW HOURS!! Okay, I'm really trying to get the adrenaline pumping here because I have had maybe 6 hours of sleep in the past 48 hours, so I am exhausted. You should have seen all six of us sleeping on the floor in the lounge...actually, I'm pretty sure some of them are still over there sleeping. I hope you people who are meeting us at the airport aren't expecting any kind of beautiful appearances when we arrive because WE ARE CURRENTLY GOING THROUGH THE LONGEST DAY OF OUR LIVES!!!! I just feeling like laughing. Oh yeah, adrenaline and caffeine from my chai latte. (The lady behind me wasn't too impressed when I mistakenly grabbed her soy latte and almost tasted it.) Observation: People at airports are WHINY!!! Dude, there are grown men here practically throwing a tantrum when they have to wait in line for something or when they can't get their window seat or when their luggage is having issues or......yeah. I am so going to die in the next 5 weeks. But at least it will be fun. I think. Okay, I am obviously sleep deprived. I'm getting off now. And then I'll get ready to get on the plane. And then we will fly to Indiana. AND THEN I WILL GIVE SOME HUGE HUGS! hehe. Watch out. Oooh, I'm currently noting the gate change from gate 24 to gate 22. Hah. Okay, I'm really, really going now. If you think this post is bad......YOU SHOULD SEE ME IN PERSON RIGHT NOW!!!!!!! p.s. I am utterly confused about what time it is ANYWHERE. Oh let lag, how we love you. To those of you who care... Okay, people, here's the plan. Our original flight is scheduled to land in Indy on Thursday, 14 June, at 11:19 p.m. However, Mom and Dad would be thrilled if, sometime during our 7 hour layover in L.A., we could get an earlier flight to Indy. Dad says the only one he has seen that would be worth trying to catch would arrive in Indy at 8:30 p.m. We won't know exactly what will happen until Thursday. So, if you are planning on meeting us at the airport on Thursday, it would be good if someone knew so that if we do get on that earlier flight, someone can call and let you know (and we will definitely make sure to tell a person or two and have them pass it on). Also, we silly insensible Blackwood girls would like to go to Wal*Mart upon leaving the airport Thursday night, and anyone is welcome to join us. And for you Australians who will miss us oh-so-terribly whilst we are away, we will definitely -- if the Lord wills -- return to you all on 20 July. [Don't you forget, Blakstons! We're counting on some familiar Aussie voices upon our arrival at the Melbourne airport! :)] So I'm thinking it might be good if I did something useful at this time. Like pack. That was the topic at youth camp. IT WAS STUPENDOUSLY AMAZING!!!!! Oh my, oh my, I would so love to write about every single tiny little detail of the wonderful 3 1/2 days at Dikko, but I really and truly and honestly don't have the time. So, please ask me about Youth Camp when you next see me. Honestly, please do! I would love, love, LOVE to tell you. I'm incredibly sore, rediculously bruised, totally exhausted, and on a HUGE emotional high. Watch out... :) But for now, I need to empty the contents of my duffle bag into the wash, scrub the mud off my face and out of my hair and basically just get cleeean. Then I need to study for a bit for my biology exam tomorrow (please pray for Maria and me!!). And before it gets very late at all, I'm definitely looking forward to crawling into bed for a good, long night's sleep. C O U N T D O W N : Three more sleeps until we fly to America! It feels like Christmas. I've received three snail mail letters and one package this week. The package was put together last March and finally reached us yesterday. I FINALLY HAVE MY CYPU T-SHIRT! I had to put it on as soon as I got it (I've been waiting for a year and a half!). Of course, the package got opened and inspected by the Australian Quarantine. Again. Though I don't think they actually confiscated anything this time, thankfully. Who wants this Quarantine sticker? We're getting quite the collection here. Adding to the Christmas-y feeling is the cold weather and the adrenaline rushes (which is, of course, secreted through the adrenal glands. Or...something like that). Suitcases, suitcases everywhere (all of which have yet to be packed). It's like deja vu. Charity | 8:29 pm Comments-[ comments.]

I stayed up late last night finishing "The Last Disciple". I hate it when really good books come to an end. Dad said he ordered the next book in the series, though; I can't wait to get it. But I have so many more books on my "to read" list. Maybe I'll take advantage of that 18 hour flight we have coming up. I got two snail mail letters today. Oh how I love them. This is my last week of school until we return from the States. I may do a bit next week, but seeing as I'll return from Youth Camp Monday, have my biology final Tuesday, and will be packing and such on Wednesday in order to leave on Thursday, I don't think I'll be having much time. I've worked ahead some, though, so hopefully it won't be too terrible catching up... It is really cold. I still feel like eating ice cream. Maria tried to throw me the peanut butter jar when mom asked for it at dinner. It bounced off my hand and landed in the chili pot, exploding chili all over Tamara and the curtains. As soon as I saw it fly towards the pot, I jumped back out of the way of the splash. Mom reprimanded Maria, and we three girls proceeded to die laughing. It hurt. Maria and I need to study biology now. See you soon. C O U N T D O W N : 4 more sleeps until Dixons Creek Youth Camp (!!!) 10 more sleeps until we fly to America (!!!!!!!!!)
